"Jennifer understands the day-to-day running of our business, our expectations of staff, our emphasis on family and our business values. Using a hands on, fun, active, participating format Jennifer was able to transfer our business expectations and values to the new staff. She also inspired and energized the staff to prepare them for another busy season.
Jennifer's staff development workshop allowed us to quickly build trust, establishing individual and team confidence. What I noticed after the session was a great sense of camaraderie, which continued through out the season. From my experience I can definitely see how Jennifer's approach for staff training can be applied to improve any service oriented business. We've already booked her for next season."

Sage Age Theatre Improv Troupe Workshop
What do you wish you'd said? Who would you like to be? Here is your opportunity to learn to play all over again! Sage Age Theatre, one of Canada's only seniors' improvisational theatre groups will help you discover your inner self, through games and skits designed to develop those life skills we all need in cooperating with others in a positive fashion: listening, trusting, responding, and group decision making. It is a great venue for team building, as everyone brings his own talents to the table. Because it involves role playing, new personalities often immerge and people are given permission to try new roles in a group and perhaps learn a little about themselves in an expanded way. There is no judgement in improv - it is all good, all positive, all FUN!
This is an activity that appeals to all ages, especially to those people who are unaccustomed to letting their spirit run free. Laughing is an important part of improv, and every session provides plenty of humour, lots of imagination, and the chance to "try on" new roles. Games, games, games - no prizes - just a lot of fun!! Sage Age will provide a workshop comprising games and skits tailored to the group's abilities. The activities will involve some physical exercise, but nothing so strenuous as to be harmful. Participants will all take part, but are free to withdraw at any time, should they be uncomfortable.
Absolutely NO stage performance will be called for by the participants. This would be a 1 1/2 hour workshop, followed by a refreshment break, after which Sage Age will perform for the group as pure entertainment.
