    1. Hello Bonnie – we are open every day between 10 am – 3 pm until April 18, 2022. If you arrive during the week, you will quite likely have a more quiet visit with lots of room to enjoy the trails, the playground and the sledding hill (please bring your own small sled, cross country skis or snowshoes. If you visit on the weekend, we will have our horse-drawn sleigh rides on site and we will be serving maple taffy on snow. The Maple Shop, our retail store, is open every day. We hope to see you!

    1. Thanks for your question! The challenge is that trail conditions change, but with Scott’s amazing grooming 95% of the time boots are all you need. As the temperatures rise the snow will become soft, then patchy then non existent — the next step is patches of mud!!!

    1. We are a pipeline producer with approximately 35+ km of pipeline woven throughout our 400 acre property. While much of the pipeline is further away from the main buildings, you can walk about 50 feet to see some pipeline near the production buildings. We do not use traditional buckets, except for a few near the playground for our guests to see the sap dripping into a bucket when Mother Nature sends us perfect weather conditions (+5C during the day and -5C overnight). Please note – to keep the flow of guests moving and to reduce gatherings, we will not be offering dedicated tours inside the Sugar Camp (production building) this year. We are happy to answer your questions, however, so please bring your curious questions to our Maple Team.

  1. During Ontario March Break, other than sleigh rides and hiking, are there other activities planned? Is maple taffy available or is that still only on the weekend?

    1. Please feel free to bring your own small sled for some fun on the sliding hill behind the Sugar Camp. On Wednesday and Thursday of the Ontario March Break, be sure to visit the Heritage Maple Path and join Chad, our Outdoor Educator around the campfire. The Maple Taffy will be available every day of the March Break. We are open 10 am – 3 pm (Sleigh Rides, Maple Taffy & Chad 11 am – 3 pm). For those planning to stay and play, there is a $10/car site fee. This can be purchased at our Online Store or in person at the Maple Shop. See you soon!

    1. Hello and many thanks for your inquiry.

Because we have horses on site and must keep the safety of the passengers on the horse-drawn sleigh a priority, we are unable to have visiting dogs on the property. Even dogs on a leash can become excited, start barking and inadvertently startle the horses.

This is always a hard discussion to have as we are all BIG dog lovers at Fulton’s so we truly appreciate you asking ahead of your visit.
