Fried Apples

PREP TIME: 10 mins | TOTAL TIME: 20 mins | SERVINGS: 4

INGREDIENTS

4 Granny Smith apples

1 tablespoon Fulton’s Maple Cinnamon Sugar

1 tablespoon lemon juice

½ teaspoon cinnamon

1/8 teaspoon cloves

¼ teaspoon nutmeg

4 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons Fulton’s Cinnamon Infused Maple Syrup

INSTRUCTIONS

Core apples and slice into wedges.

Place in a large mixing bowl and coat with spices and lemon juice.

Melt butter in a deep walled skillet.

Fry apples over medium heat until soft.  A lid can help by trapping steam.  Do not overcook.

Add maple syrup at the end and turn to high heat.  Continue to cook until apples are browned and the syrup is thickened to a glaze.  Stir often.
