THANK YOU to our customers, wholesalers, cafes, restaurants and spas for the amazing support showered on our business this maple season.
To say it was a strange season is probably an understatement, from on-again/off-again sap runs, to storms of every kind: thunder, snow and ice along with a multi-day power outage – it will go down in our record books!
Mother Nature is indeed in charge but in the end, she was good to us with all four grades of delicious maple syrup: Golden, Amber, Dark and a small run of Very Dark. We’re very grateful!
We would be amiss if we didn’t give a big shout-out to Team Awesome, our family, extended family and those that feel like family for their continual support.
There’s a great deal of behind the scenes action (that starts many months ahead of time) that means everything run smoothly in our 10-week season. With a small family business, there is amazing support that comes forward in the name of the “volunteer” – spouses, tweens and friends that support our team.
We couldn’t do this without all those that joyfully come forward with an extra set of hands when we need it most.
The trails are closed so that we can continue on with forest management as time permits and of course, the mosquitoes and black flies will soon take over. Many of our team have moved on to their next seasonal employment in our great community and we already look forward to their return next year.
Our Maple Shop is fully stocked and now open on Tuesdays and Fridays between 10am – 3pm and of course the Online Store is always open with local pick up here at the farm or shipping options too.
